The best hotel in Antigua Guatemala is the Hotel Casa Santo Domingo, a restored Spanish colonial convent. This is the only hotel in Antigua which has both a museum of Maya archaeology as well as a museum of world-class Spanish colonial art.

 

Andrea and I stayed in the Hotel Casa Santo Domingo for eight days over Christmas.
