This hotel used to be called Hotel Villa Grande, but it has changed its name to Hotel Casa del Rey. It is set against a hillside. Each range of rooms is independent. All the area between the ranges is nicely planted with trees and flowers. Since the hotel is on high ground, you get a view of the entire town of Chichicastenango from the edge of the extensive property.
