Andrea David, Co-Director of F.L.A.A.R., is also in charge of arranging Maya archaeology slide lectures and photo exhibits in Europe, especially in Germany.

 

From June to December, 1997, Andrea was a legal intern in Guatemala City, working on several international legal cases involving Guatemalan citizens and German corporations. Previously Andrea worked with the F.L.A.A.R. research projects in Japan, including twice working through the National Museum of Ethnology, Osaka.

 

Andrea also taught herself to use all the digital cameras, digital imaging, and serves since several years as co-Director of most of the F.L.A.A.R. programs. Dec. 11th, 1997 she passed her law bar exam in Germany. She is now a corporate lawyer with a large international German company.

 

Over the past five years Andrea has been in charge of photography equipment and local arrangements for F.L.A.A.R. field photography in Belize, Mexico, Guatemala, and Honduras.
